Dance classes
Dance classes are held for people who wish to learn how to, or improve their dancing. There are a number of different types of class as styles of dancing can vary wildly, plus dance classes to suit different skill levels of dancer will also be available. Some people may attend dance classes simply as a form of recreation, whilst dance classes for competitive and professional dancers are quite common. Many dancers will compete professionally for large sums of prize money and will adhere to strict routines of attending dance classes in order to maintain a high level of practice. Many professional dancers will also run dancer classes as a means of making a living.
Dance has recently become quite in vogue due to several competitive dancing programs being broadcast on television and more and more people are taking a variety of different dance classes as an immediate upshot of this. Some dance classes, particularly those that teach a particularly vigorous or energetic form of dance can be quite exhausting and dance classes are often though to be a good form of exercise. Many dance classes will often focus on the theory behind dance as well as the practical act of dancing itself, and dance classes dealing with dance theory will focus on aspects such as the origins or dance and style, whilst focus on other areas of the theory behind the types of footwork and motion used in various forms of dance.
